Payment terms

1.1 A deposit of 25% of the total payment is due at the time of booking. Please note that the booking is not confirmed until it is received.

1.2 The deposit must be paid within 10 days from the date of invoice. If it is not received, the booking will be cancelled.

1.3 The balance is due before the start of the course. Credit card or cash payments can be made on the first day of the course. Bank transfers must be made 10 working days before the start of the course, so that payment arrives in our account at least 5 days before the course start date.

1.4 If the booking is made less than 21 days before the course start date, the full invoice amount is due at the time of booking. A credit card payment must be made, or the bank transfer confirmation must be sent, within 3 days from the date of the invoice. If it is not received, the booking will be cancelled.

1.5 If the booking is made less than 10 days before the course start date, the full invoice amount is due at the time of booking. The payment must be made by credit card.

1.6 For bookings of apartments and college rooms, the whole accommodation payment is due at the time of booking.

2. Cancellation of the course (September to July)

2.1 If notification is made 10 days or more before the course start date, we will refund the total course payment, except for an administration charge of £50.

2.2 If notification of cancellation is made less than 10 days before the course start date, refunds will be on a sliding scale from 100% at 10 days, to 0% at 2 days.

2.3 If notification of cancellation is made less than 2 days (48 hours) before the course start date, we will not refund any of the deposit.

2.4 In the event of a postponed arrival date, there will be an administration charge of £50.

2.5 Any further cancellation charge will be at our discretion, taking into account factors such as the number of days cancelled, and the length of the course.

3. Cancellation of the course (August)

3.1 If notification is made 21 days or more before the course start date, we will refund the total course payment, except for an administration charge of £50.

3.2 If notification of cancellation is made less than 21 days before the course start date, the deposit will not be refunded.

3.3 Any further cancellation charge will be at our discretion, taking into account factors such as the number of days cancelled, and the length of the course.

4. Cancellation of accommodation - home-stay or guest house

4.1 If notification of cancellation is made 7 days or more before the arrival date, we will refund the total accommodation payment, except for an administration charge of £30.

4.2 If notification of cancellation is made less than 7 days before the arrival date, refunds will be on a sliding scale from 100% at 7 days, to 0% at 2 days.

4.3 If notification of cancellation is made less than 2 days (48 hours) before the course start date, we will not refund any of the accommodation payment.

4.4 In the event of a postponed arrival date, there will be an administration charge of £30.

5. Cancellation of accommodation - apartment or university room

5.1 If notification of cancellation is made 14 days or more before the arrival date, we will refund the total payment, minus an administration charge of £30.

5.2 If notification is made after 14 days before arrival, we will refund payment in accordance with Apartment Company's or University Room's terms included in the booking confirmation details.

6. Cancellation of accommodation - hotel

6.1 Cancellation dates vary according to the hotel. The cancellation date will be specified in the course confirmation accommodation details. There will be an administration charge of £30.

6.2 If notification of cancellation is not made by the specified cancellation date, there will be a charge equivalent to the cost of one night's accommodation, plus an administration charge of £30.

7. Cancellation after the start of the course (September to July)

7.1 After the course has started, if notification is made more than 7 days in advance, we will refund cancelled classes except for an administration charge of £50.

7.2 If notification is made 7 days or less in advance, we regret that we will not refund cancelled classes.

8. Cancellation after the start of the course (August)

8.1 After the course has started, if notification is made more than 14 days in advance, we will refund cancelled classes and accommodation, except for an administration charge of £50.

8.2 If notification is made 14 days or less in advance, we will not refund cancelled classes.

9. Cancellation notification

9.1 Notification of cancellation of booking must be made or confirmed by email to us.

9.2 At weekends and non-office hours, it is necessary to notify us by phone as well as email.

9.3 We will confirm receipt of the cancellation by email.

9.4 It is the client's responsibility to ensure that we have received the cancellation.

10. Cancellations by us

In exceptional circumstances we may find it necessary to cancel your course booking. If so, we shall make all reasonable efforts to offer a suitable alternative.

11. Alterations to the course by us

11.1 In exceptional circumstances we may find it necessary to cancel a class or classes on specific days. If so, we shall make all reasonable efforts to offer a suitable alternative.

11.2 If we cannot offer an alternative, or if the alteration is not acceptable to the client, the payment for the cancelled classes will be returned to the client.

12. Alterations to the accommodation by us

While every effort is made to adhere to the accommodation type, location and price stated in a booking, we reserve the right to vary the type, location and price of the accommodation. Any difference in price will be refunded to the client.

13. Non-provision of course as a result of abuse by client

We reserve the right to refuse to provide classes to anyone who is abusive to us, our teachers, or other clients. We will cancel the remaining hours and will not give a refund.

14. Additional classes and / or dinners with teachers

During the course, if requested, we will provide extra hours (classes or dinners with teachers) if it is possible. However, we cannot guarantee to provide extra hours.

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT ALL CLIENTS OBTAIN APPROPRIATE TRAVEL AND PERSONAL INSURANCE TO COVER THE CHARGES IN THE EVENT OF A CANCELLATION OR ALTERATION.
